I’ve always felt comfortable expressing myself through the arts….(dance, design, photography, music, etc..) Such self-expression has allowed me to experience multiple benefits, including a sense of freedom and escape. Like many women, I’ve been intrigued by the sheer magnificence of pole dancing for a long time. I used to watch in awe while dancers maneuvered themselves seemingly effortlessly all around the pole. I absolutely love how graceful pole dancing can look while incorporating great amounts of strength and flexibility!

Then one day, I finally decided, “I gotta try this!” Prior to this experience, dance had been absent from my life for over 10 years. Choosing PDM to start this journey was like “icing on the cake.” I really appreciate that the instructors come from different dance backgrounds and all walks of life and this diversity is reflected in their methods and styles of teaching. Further, the camaraderie and professionalism that I’ve experienced at PDM make me feel at home and as if I’ve been a part of this dance studio for many years!

With my intense travel schedule, I took advantage of the unlimited membership, which allows me to fully maximize my experience through both the structured and unstructured classes. I’ve been able to discover that learning this art form in its entirety doesn’t only mean having the strength and flexibility to sustain a pose five or more feet off the ground, but includes mastering key details such as transitions, floor work and poses.

Until I began this journey with PDM, I never truly realized how much I missed the freedom of expressing myself through dance. The feeling of exhilaration that I get while “working the pole” has become an addiction and the physical changes are becoming a benefit that I can’t seem to live with out! The next time someone asks me how much I bench press, I can confidently reply “ME!”

Hi Gwendy and Yusi! We had a great time playing with Jenyne and Alethea yesterday! We wanted to let you know that we felt so welcome in your studio by both you and your students! We arrived and could hear the girls in a workshop laughing and playing and having a blast and that is what this is all about! Keep up the great work and remember to taste the fruit….you have to go out on a limb!!!! Hope to see you again!

I Cant Wait

I’ve been trying to find different things associated with dancing that i can do as a workout to build my strength and flexibility. I absolutely love to dance & i think working out at the gym is OKAY but is boring sometimes so pole dancing maybe would become a great alternative for me rather than going to the gym… I’m just a little worried about what my parents will say when i tell them i want to take pole dancing classes -_-
But i want to try it SO badd! I’ll visit and see what it’ll be like but i’m
REALLY determined to do this. it looks like so much fun!!
